Japan's Marubeni and Kolmar agree on supplying equipment to terminal in Vanino

Marubeni Corporation and the Russian Kolmar Coal Mining Company have signed an agreement on supplying Japanese equipment to a transport terminal in the port of Vanino, according to the administration of the Khabarovsk Territory.

On the sidelines of the Russian-Japanese business forum in Tokyo, the Vice Premier and Russian Presidential Envoy in the Far Eastern Federal District,Yuri Trutnev, held a working meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Marubeni Corporation, Teruo Asad, and the founder of Mayekawa Company, Masao Mayekawa.

One statement reads, «As a result of the joint meetings, we ceremoniously signed an agreement between the leadership of the Japanese corporation, Marubeni, and the Russian Kolmar Coal Mining Company. The parties have agreed on supplying Japanese handling equipment required at a terminal in the Muchka Bay, Vanino District. Kolmar is overseeing a project on the creation of a transport and logistics complex in Vanino. Marubeni Corporation has the opportunity to participate as an investor».
